Liam Stewart, 28, has shared the exciting news he has become a father for the first time.
The ice hockey player, who is the son of rock legend Rod Stewart, 78, took to Instagram today to share some adorable snaps of his baby boy.
Liam who previously revealed he would be welcoming his baby boy sometime in May with partner Nicole Artukovich, was inundated with congratulatory messages as he shared the news with his 18,900 followers.
“Welcome lad,” he captioned the pictures of his newborn. “You American, British, Croatian, Kiwi. Louie Mark Roderick Stewart 5.12.23.”
The pictures showed adorable baby Louie sleeping soundly, fully kitted out in green Celtic clothing.

Liam’s followers flocked to the comments section, including singer Alyssa Bonagura, who wrote: “So happy for you guys!! He’s beautiful!!!”
Debi gushed: “Congrats!! He is so precious! Glad everyone well. Wish you all much happiness!! Love the little Celtic wear! Grandpop did well!!” (sic)
“Our long-awaited price has arrived!!!!” Kylie penned, as Abigail commented: “Massive congratulations to you both.”
“He’s beautiful! Congratulations to you both,” added Holly, while James wrote: “Buddy!!!! Amazing amazing! Congrats you guys! It’s the best.”
“Welcome to the world lil guy. Congratulations to you both, you will make amazing parents x,” Hayley penned.
Liam is Rod’s sixth child out of a total of eight and is the second child he shares with ex-wife Rachel Hunter, who is a model from New Zealand.
Rod and Rachel welcomed daughter Renee on June 1, 1992 and Liam on September 5, 1994.
As a professional ice hockey player, Liam has played for the Spokane Chiefs, Alaska Aces, and most recently Milton Keynes Lightning.
Earlier this year, Rod’s daughter Ruby Stewart, 35, also announced she is due to give birth, which will make the rockstar a grandfather for a third time.
The star’s second eldest child Kimberly Stewart welcomed her first child and his first granddaughter Delilah back in 2011.
