Rita Ora surprises fans as she joins Fatboy Slim for epic Glastonbury show
The 32-year-old singer arrived during the DJ’s set as a special celebrity guest and launched into a rendition of the duo’s latest chart-topping track together.
Belting out the lyrics to Praisins You, the 59-year-old record producer – real name Norman Quentin Cook – helped her out by providing the accompaniment and fans couldn’t get enough.
The songstress appeared to be having the time of her life as she danced across the stage and shook her hair throughout the epic performance.
Rita showed up in a Glastonbury-worthy outfit for her time on stage and wore a ruffled corset number that she paired with a puffy white shirt featuring similar ruffled sleeves.
The star then put on her best pair of beige suede cowboy boots for the occasion and left the rest of her leg, from the knee up, bare and she sang and dance her heart out in the soaring heat.
Leaving her naturally curly hair loose, the chart-topper was a vision as she swished her long blonde wavy locks to the sound of the music.
Behind her, Fatboy Slim performed an impressive DJ set on the iconic stage from 11pm until 12.15am, kickstarting a party that had festivalgoers staying up to enjoy into the early hours of the next morning.
Elsewhere at Worthy Farm, The Pretenders treated fans to a star-studded set which featured guest appearances from Johnny Marr and Dave Grohl – as well as a greeting from Sir Paul McCartney.
The US-British rock band were a surprise addition to the Park Stage’s Saturday line-up, only announcing their 7.45pm slot earlier this week.
After the rock band rolled through hits from their back catalogue, they reunited on stage with The Smiths’ musician Johnny, who had a spell in the rock band in the late 1980s.
Ahead of introducing him, frontwoman Chrissie Hynde said: ‘Glastonbury has so many memories but my favourite is seeing my guitar heroes.’
She noted that their guitarist James Walbourne was one and Johnny was another.
He joined them for a rendition of hits including Back On The Chain Gang and Don’t Get Me Wrong.
