Ringsby family lists Tuscan-style Denver mansion for $3.75M

Donald and Karen Ringsby knew what they wanted when they asked their son Gray to design their Denver home.

For the mansion built in 1995, they wanted something romantic that reflected a bygone era with a Tuscan villa flair.

They started with a door they found at an antique shop.

“I designed the entry around it, creating a stone archway,” says Gray Ringsby, a Maui realtor and University of Colorado graduate with a degree in architecture.

The home’s open staircase has a custom railing crafted by an artistic welder using vines to illustrate a connection to wine-growing regions in Italy and Europe. The interior features Colorado flagstone floors and colonnades.

“When you walk in, it feels like it’s an old, historic house,” Gray says.

Located in the 1600 block of East Cedar Avenue in Denver, the three-story, 6,000-square-foot home has three bedrooms, four baths and an elevator.

The house shares a pool with five neighborhood homes.
