Richard Madeley salary: GMB host’s massive fortune unveiled after I’m a Celeb contract

Richard Madeley has had a long and successful career in the media, appearing on a slew of different TV programmes. His next venture will see him compete against fellow celebrities as he takes part in this year’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!. The popular show returns tonight at 9pm on ITV.

This will be added to his £300,000 contract with the channel for working on GMB, which he also signed this year as he replaced Piers Morgan as one of the show’s main presenters.

Richard has been discussing his much-awaited-for appearance on I’m a Celebrity for a while as he told GMB viewers a few weeks ago that he has been learning Welsh in preparation.

The show’s team and contestants will return to Gwrych Castle in north Wales again this year.

The castle is in an area of the country known for its Welsh-speaking community, not far from Snowdonia National Park.

This was the woman who would later become his second wife.

The pair wed in 1986 and have two children, Chloe and Jack.

Richard and Judy presented This Morning from its inception in October 1988 until July 2001.

The couple quit This Morning in 2001 having been approached by Channel 4 to host a similar show called Richard & Judy.

The programme was shown for an hour in the early evenings.

During its time on air, the TV show launched two successful “clubs”, the Richard & Judy Book Club and the Richard & Judy Wine Club, both of which are similar in style to those used by Oprah Winfrey.

The show ended in August 2008 and Richard went on to present The Wright Stuff from 2012 until 2017.

In 2017 he then took up the guest presenting role at Good Morning Britain.

But since Piers Morgan left earlier this year, he has been seen hosting with Susanna Reid far more frequently than previous years.
