Rica Peralejo goes on 5-day detox with help from nutritionist

Taking a pause at life and doing something outside of one’s routine is what actress and vlogger Rica Peralejo just did recently.

“Work-Life balance, pagusapan natin (let’s talk about it). Work is great but we are not designed to do all work. Sharing ways to guard our rest on the vlog tonight!!! See ya at the premiere,” she said via her Instagram page today, July 31.

Peralejo stated that she went through the detox with the help of a nutritionist.

“Detox that was given to me by my nutritionist is a kind of fast, it was a five-day fast. I was given that fast to detox my body,” she explained.

And at the same time, she took the opportunity to “talk to God, to speak to God.”

“And maybe this is also why I’m doing this vlog. I’m kind of wanna ask you guys, if you don’t have this habit yet, maybe you can start one,” she added.

Peralejo recommended detox “every middle of the year” and “just stop for a few days and fast from whatever.”

“If you want to fast for food, that’s fine. It you want to fast from social media, just take a pause,” she said. “We badly needed a reset and so I thought of going on a detox.” JB
