Resident Evil 4 ‘Chainsaw Demo’ is now available on PlayStation, Steam, and Xbox Series X/S
Trial of Terror
During tonight’s Capcom Spotlight presentation, it was announced, as rumored, that a special “Chainsaw Demo” for incoming remake Resident Evil 4 is going live today on all platforms — Eager players can download the demo on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), and Xbox Series X/S.
The demo will give us all a taste of how Capcom is handling the remake of what is not only one of the most beloved titles in the Resident Evil franchise, but one of the most popular titles in gaming history. We will once again step into a mysterious European village with Leon S. Kennedy, as he searches for the missing President’s daughter, Ashley Graham, who has seemingly been abducted by a strange and mysterious cult.
Roost to Condor One.
The #ResidentEvil4 demo has landed! Agents are encouraged to play as long as they want and as many times as they want to prepare for Resident Evil 4 when it launches March 24th, 2023. ???? pic.twitter.com/uex8oprYrC— Resident Evil (@RE_Games) March 9, 2023
The Resident Evil 4 demo will offer up the infamous village assault that opens Leon’s terrifying adventure. OF course, “Chainsaw Demo” refers to the notorious chainsaw-wielding maniac that attack Leon during this sequence. As opposed to other recent Resident Evil demos, the Chainsaw Demo has no time limit, and can be run and re-run as many times as you wish, scratching that itch ahead of the full game’s incoming launch. Have fun, and don’t lose your head.
Resident Evil 4 launches March 24 on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox Series X platforms.
