REET 2023: Candidates caught solving paper before exam, internet services shut amid fears of REET paper leak – Times of India
According to some media reports, a group was caught while solving the paper in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur city. This group was sitting in a marriage hall solving the question paper just when the police caught them. Around four to five people have been taken into custody by the police. However, the whole matter along with the question papers recovered from them is being investigated.
Amid fears of REET paper leak, the board has issued a notice that the internet service will remain shut in 11 districts of Rajasthan on February 25 and February 26, 2023. While on February 27, 2023, the internet service will remain shut in Jaipur from 6 AM to 6 PM.
The 11 districts of the state where the internet will remain closed for two days are Alwar, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Bharatpur, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Kota, Sriganganagar, Tonk, and Udaipur.

In another incident apart from REET paper leak case, a dummy candidate has been caught by the SOG officials at the Shreemati Kamla Devi Budhiya Rajkiya Ucch Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Jaipur. The dummy candidate who is said to be from Barmer was giving the REET exam in place of a candidate from Jhunjhunu. The same incident has also been reported from a school in Amer.
REET 2023 exam is being conducted to fill a total of 48,000 vacancies for Garde 3 teachers throughout the state. As per the official schedule, the REET examination is being held in two shifts – morning and afternoon. The REET Mains exam 2023 timing for the morning shift is from 9:30 AM and the afternoon shift timing is 3 PM.
