Reese Witherspoon’s look-a-like daughter Ava confuse fans in swimsuit snap

Reese Witherspoon’s daughter Ava Phillippe has shared an image on her Instagram account that has left some fans doing a double-take.

The image posted to her 1 million followers showed Ava, 23, posing in a lilac swimsuit by the side of the pool.

However, some fans had to take a second look as she looks exactly like her mum.

Fans rushed to the comments to point out the similarity, with one user saying: “You cannot deny u and ur mum aren’t twins” whilst a second said: “Had to do a double take thinking it was Reese.” (sic)

And a third commented: “Holy just wow you’re your mother’s twin! Even more beautiful I know she’s so proud.”

This comes just days after Legally Blonde star Reese, 47, posted a selfie with her daughter to her 29.9 million followers on Instagram.

The snap showed them in Waldorf Astoria robes and had the caption: “Perfect Summer night with my girl @avaphillippe learning all about @oceana incredible conservation work.”

Fans were once again blown away by the likeness, with one commenting: “Why does Ava look more like Reese Witherspoon than Reese Witherspoon” and another said: “Literally twins.”

Celebrity fans also took to the comment section with Selma Blair saying: “You are both so beautiful.”

Gwyneth Paltrow left two red heart emojis, whilst Law and Order Special Victim star Mariska Hargitay said: “Beauties inside and out.”

Reese shares two children, Ava, 23, and Deacon, 19, with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

The couple, who worked together on the movie Cruel Intentions, married in 1999 before announcing their separation in 2006.

Reese went on to marry Jim Toth at her California ranch before welcoming a son, Tennessee, in 2012.

The Legally Blonde actress filed for divorce in March 2023 on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.
