Redmi Fire TV with Fire OS 7 to launch in India on March 14 – Times of India

Xiaomi is set to expand its smart TV portfolio with the launch of Redmi Fire TV in India. The company has announced on Twitter that Redmi Fire TV will make its debut on March 14. However, the company is yet to confirm the specifications of the TV, the alleged features have surfaced online on the website ahead of the launch.

Meanwhile, the company has also teased the Redmi Fire TV on the Amazon e-commerce website. There’s also a Notify me button which when clicked will notify the users when the launch takes place.
Redmi Fire TV: Likely specifications
As per the teaser, the company promises to deliver a premium experience with Fire OS 7. The TV features a smart hub control, and the new remote comes with a shortcut for Alexa instead of Google Assistant, along with quick launch buttons for Prime Video, Netflix and Amazon Music.
The device will be the company’s first TV powered by Fire OS as compared to other models that run Android TV OS. The company has confirmed the TV measure will come with a 32-inch screen size.

Redmi Fire TV is said to feature a metallic bezel and claims to deliver outstanding visuals and an immersive audio experience. The TV is likely to come with a range of connectivity options that include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Airplay and Miracast.
Additionally, the TV will arrive in eco-friendly packaging that cuts open as a Mi Bunny storage unit. Xiaomi initially introduced this in 2021 with the launch of the Redmi Smart TV X series. This was first introduced in the Redmi Smart TV X series.
