Reddit scroller: What is the app and how does it work?

Well, there’s is a free and downloadable remedy known as a Reddit Scroller that puts all the different subreddits into one place and scrolls for you.

What is a Reddit scroller?

Initially designed for smaller screens, Reddit Scroller is a web application that takes photos and videos from various subreddits and puts them into a grid layout.

Reddit Scroller can automatically scroll through the app for you, so you don’t need to jump around between communities.

For Android and Google phone owners, there is another popular app call Infinity for Reddit that does a similar thing.

It’s used for pictures to show them in a scrollable format.

It essentially turns Reddit into something that looks more like Tumblr, or Instagram’s explore page.

How does a Reddit scroller work?

Once you’ve downloaded the web application, you’ll need to test it out.

First, you need to type ‘subreddit’ into the search bar on Reddit.

This will show you the first page of Reddit.

A button saying SCROLL should appear.

If you click this button, you will be able to scroll down the page and images will start loading in.

It should be noted that images will stop loading once your ram hits its max or Reddit reaches its archive limit.

How to download a Reddit scroller

Reddit Scroller is available in the Chrome Web Store, and available to any Reddit user browsing on their PC.

While Infinity for Reddit is currently only available for Android and Google device users, which is available for download via Google Play and the Android Store,

All you need to do is install one of the apps through one of the trusted digital stores – Chrome Web Store, Google Play, Android Store – and you’ll be ready to go.
