Reddit down worldwide: Users complain of problems accessing website and app
REDDIT seems to be down for a lot of users around the world.
Frustrated Reddit fans have taken to social media to complain.
It’s currently unclear why the site is having problems.
It could be due to a problem with Reddit or it could be the devices people are using to try and access it.
Downdetector reported problems at 3:21pm ET (8:21pm GMT).
People have vented their frustrations on Twitter.
One Reddit user tweeted: “is reddit down? i can’t breathe.”
Another said: “Reddit is the most broken app. Every couple of days Reddit seems to go down. Fix your s*** Reddit.”
Another joked: “Is reddit down again, or do i spend too much time at work on it that my employer blocked it”.
Thousands of people reported issued with Reddit around 3pm ET, according to Downdetector.
Over 50% of the issues reported were related to the website.
Some users say the website is now back online.
One wrote on Downdetector: “Its working now chill people go outside.”
Another said: “Its working for me 5 minute panic over.”
We have reached out to Reddit for comment.
