Realme’s first Smart 4K Google TV Stick is affordable alternative to FireTV Stick: Price, feature and more – Times of India
After several leaks and rumours in the past couple of months, Realme has finally launched its FireTV Stick rival in India. Dubbed Realme Smart 4K Google TV Stick, it’s the company’s first-ever device and is based on the new Google TV platform.
The smart Stick from Realme comes with 4Kp60 AV1 encoding, HDR10+ support, quad-core chipset, 2GB RAM and 8GB of storage.
That’s not it, Realme Google TV Stick also comes with HDMI 2.1, 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 to offer multiple connectivity options.
Being based on the Google TV platform, the streaming stick comes with the new Google TV user interface along with all the features like built-in Chromecast, Google Assistant, support for major OTT platforms including Prime Video, MX Player, Netflix,etc.
The Smart TV stick is also capable of controlling smart home devices that allows users to use their voice commands to control smart lights, fans, etc.
It is compatible with all realme Smart TV remotes and works with Bluetooth voice control remote. With its built-in microphone, users will be able to access voice assistants quickly.
Realme has priced the Smart 4K Google TV Stick at Rs 3,999 and the company is currently offering during realme festival days it will be available at Rs 2,999. The streaming stick will be up for sale starting October 16, 12pm on realme.com, Flipkart & Mainline channels. Flipkart Plus members will have early access to the sale on October 16.
