Rana Daggubati applauds SS Rajamouli for achieving ‘One India One Cinema’ dream with RRR

Rana Daggubati has praised filmmaker SS Rajamouli for once again achieving the ‘One India One Cinema’ dream with his latest release RRR, which has broken into the 1000 crore club and continues to play to packed houses. Sharing the poster, which was released to commemorate RRR’s 1000 crore gross worldwide collection, Rana stated that he appreciates Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s contributions to the film.

After Baahubali 2, RRR is the second Indian film to cross the 1000 crore mark. This feat was accomplished by RRR in just 15 days at the box office. “ONE INDIA ONE CINEMA” was a wishful dream till one man came along and said this is what it looks like! Capitan you’ve done it again. @SSRajamouli and team #RRR. I salute you,” Rana shared.

Last week, producer Jayantilal Gada hosted a grand celebration as SS Rajamouli’s RRR crossed the Rs1000 crore mark worldwide. Aamir Khan, Huma Qureshi, Johnny Lever, and Makrand Deshpande were all present to celebrate. The film’s lead actors, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, as well as SS Rajamouli, attended the party.

When a reporter asked Ram Charan how he felt about walking away with all the awards, he replied: “No ma’am, I don’t believe that at all. Not even for a second. We both have excelled beautifully and Tarak was fantastic. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed working in a film so much like RRR. What I take back from RRR is my journey with Bheem; my journey with Tarak. I shall never ever forget. Thank you Rajamouli for giving me that opportunity. I’ll love him to bits, and it’ll always remain the same.”
