Rachel Stevens furious at ex-fiance’s claim as she denies ‘fling’

Rachel Stevens, 45, and Jeremy Edwards, 52, were engaged from 2002 until 2003 and now the former Hollyoaks actor has suggested that her new relationship has led him to believe she cheated on him.

The S Club 7 star is reportedly dating her Dancing On Ice skating partner Brendyn Hatfield months after splitting from her husband Alex Bourne last year.

The former couple – who were together for 12 years – called it quits last year, just one month before they were due to celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary in July 2022.

Rachel and Brendyn are said to have met when back in 2021 after being partnered together on the ITV show.

In a new interview, Hollyoaks actor Jeremy has said the situation made him question his own relationship with Rachel.

Rachel’s representative told Express.co.uk: “This is a completely false story, the below interview is absolute lies, and this did absolutely not happen.”

Jeremy had told The Sun: “Since this story came up, it’s brought all this up again. And I’ve thought about it more, I’ve thought about our relationship, and I think she did have a fling.”

He went on to suggest he would have been uncomfortable if she had gone on Dancing On Ice during their relationship.

Jeremy added: “I would never in a million years have thought she would do something like this.

“But because of the story that has come out, it just makes me question our relationship.”

Jeremy and Rachel were previously engaged 20 years ago before their split.

The S Club 7 announced her split from her husband Alex last year.

The former couple are said to be co-parenting their daughters Amelie, 12, and Minnie, eight, following their separation.
