Queen Maxima wows in head-to-toe red – ‘one of her favourites’

On September 21, 2022, Queen Maxima, 51, attended the 77th session of the UN General Assembly. The royal, who is also the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development, turned heads in a red suit.

The chic royal was kitted out in a Claes Iversen LaPerm blazer and LaPerm trousers from the same retailer.

The tailored blazer had a straight fit and was very flattering, complementing the matching trousers perfectly.

To add a more casual element, Maxima left the blazer unbuttoned, unveiling a red blouse from Claes Versen.

She paired this ensemble with her Gianvito Rossi 105 Nude Leather Pumps, which she has been spotted wearing before.

The pumps, retailed at £560, are described on the official website as follows: “Crafted from smooth leather, Gianvito Rossi’s classic point-toe pumps have been finished by hand to ensure maximum comfort.

“The beige hue works for day or evening, and with everything from tailoring to skirts.”

Royal Fashion Police revealed that this is the seventh time Queen Maxima has worn this outfit, so it must be “one of her favourites”.

Maxima rocked a chic side parting and swept her hair into a loose bun secured at the nape of her neck.

@luxmeagainpreloved added: “Gorgeous. Max in a red suit is a fantastic look. Her schedule is so busy but she always looks amazing.

“Her work with the UN regarding financial inclusivity and now adding literacy and security for over 10 years is so impressive. Queen’s at work.”

@natalia_babou stated: “Woah, Maxima has been a busy bee indeed. London, Amsterdam, then New York all in the space of three days – and still manages to look amazing every time.”

Indeed, Maxima attended Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral on Monday, Prince’s Day at The Hague on Tuesday, all before arriving in the United States.

@redpat1113 said: “Lovely look. Chic. Appropriate. Great colour.” @somsiriii called the royal “timeless”.
