Queen Letizia dons £1,820 earrings to complement Carolina Herrera suit
Queen Letizia of Spain and the director of the Cervantes Institute, Luis García Montero, presided over a significant annual meeting today. The meeting was for the Directors of the Cervantes Institute, and the Queen Consort looked very stylish for the occasion in a recycled suit.
Queen Letizia wore her Carolina Herrera evergreen wool-blend longline suit jacket, which she first debuted in 2020 for the Princess of Girona Foundation Awards.
The description for this jacket says: “Carolina Herrera pushes the boundaries of romance in her latest collection to present timeless shapes that embrace femininity and cement her place as the master of contemporary glamour.
“This evergreen longline suit jacket is crafted from a virgin wool blend and features notched lapels, long sleeves, button cuffs, a front button fastening and side pockets.”
At the time, this designer jacket cost $2,590, or roughly £2,126 in British Sterling.

Unfortunately, this jacket is no longer in stock, but due to its expensive price tag, the Queen Consort will likely want to recycle such a chic and gorgeous designer item as much as she can.
Queen Letizia paired the jacket with her Carolina Herrera evergreen wool-blend trousers, which she also debuted two years ago in 2020.
Their description says: “House Herrera’s distinctive aesthetic resides in the unique combination of timeless elegance and modern sophistication.
“These evergreen slim fit trousers are crafted from a virgin wool blend and feature a high rise, a button and zip fly, a waistband with belt loops and a regular length.”
DON’T MISS:
These designer evergreen trousers cost $1,290, or roughly £1,059 in British Sterling, despite no longer being in stock. This brings the Carolina Herrera suit to £3,185 in total.
For footwear, Queen Letizia wore her Magrit “Lissette” pumps in custom teal leather with a suede trim, which she has worn frequently since January 2019.
These shoes were originally in black and white, however, the Queen of Spain got them customised to be in the colour teal, which perfectly matched her evergreen suit today.
The description for these shoes reads: “Pointed toe pumps made of teal leather with a contrasting teal suede band. Eight cm heel. An elegant and sophisticated model for day-to-day.”

The description reads: “The green colour is in the plants; the water drops are reminiscent of brilliants and the warmth is provided by the skin and the colour contrast that highlights the white and green harmony of the collection.
“It is about creating a micro-landscape that suggests and inspires, which takes us to a jewellery garden through the details: the profile of a leaf, the colour of a flower, the verticality, the light of the image.”
These earrings cost a sensational €2,095, or roughly £1,820, which puts these jewels at the expensive end of royal jewellery.
This is, for instance, when compared to Kate Middleton’s £14 earrings from Accessorize which she wore to her carol concert “Together at Christmas” just last week.
