Queen Camilla wows in elaborate £599 green peacock dress on visit to Wales
Queen Camilla and King Charles visited Brecon in Powys, Wales today where they arrived by helicopter.
Their majesties headed straight into the cathedral after briefly waving to members of the public who had gathered for their visit.
Dressed to suit the summery weather, Camilla opted for a patterned green dress complete with a flowy a-line skirt.
The pleated style flattered the royal’s silhouette and stayed true to her trademark look, but the pattern was a new style for the Queen.
Made from a silky fabric, the garment was printed with jewel-toned peacock feathers in varying shades of green and hints of blue.
The dress is available to buy on Bombshell London and is listed as the Grace Tie Front Shirt Dress made with Liberty Green Peacock Manor Silk.
Priced at £599, the description on the website reads: “Inspired by Grace Kelly and Dior dresses of the ’50s. This shirt dress is both flattering and elegant.
“The set in sleeve line brings in a contemporary silhouette… princess lines sculpt and visually raise the bust and the beat tie front flatters the tummy area.”
This dress is made with the Green Peacock Manor print in Belgravia Silk Crepe Satin from Liberty London.
Described as “so luxurious and lightweight”, the dress is a unique addition to Queen Camilla’s predominantly plain wardrobe.
The royal paired the summery dress with a trendy wicker handbag and her favourite nude pumps by Sole Bliss.
She also wore one of her favourite pieces of jewellery on her right-hand wrist, a Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet.
The $5,123 (£3,954) design is known specifically as the Vintage Alhambra five Motifs 18k Yellow Gold & Agate Bracelet.
While Camilla is rarely seen without the charm bracelet, the blue motifs and gold detailing match perfectly with the jewel tones of her silk dress.
For an added touch of glamour, the 76-year-old donned a pair of chunky old earrings for the occasion.
Staying true to her signature style, the Queen wore her blonde hair in a classic blow-out style with light waves brushed through the ends.
