Queen Camilla wears new outfit in signature blue shade for Animal Ball
Queen Camilla and King Charles attended the Animal Ball at Lancaster House last night to mark the 20th anniversary of the wildlife conversation charity Elephant Family.
For the occasion, the Queen chose a beautiful blue tunic and trousers – believed to be new – with silver embellishments.
What looked like a dress was made up of a long midi tunic over a pair of wide-leg satin trousers which at times fell into the shape of a maxi skirt.
The tunic was in the Queen’s signature shape; long sleeves, collarless but with a short V-neck. There was a small slit up the front and it was embellished in silver detail.
The trousers underneath were in the same shade of blue, but the fabric was not adorned with silver embellishment.
For shoes, the Queen wore a pair of silver and white satin ballet pumps with silver embellishments.
For jewellery, she went all out with her white gold and diamond Van Cleef and Arpels clip-on three motif earrings from the Magic Alhambra collection which cost a whopping £46,900.
She also wore a silver necklace which several pendants hanging from the chain.
King Charles, on the other hand, dressed according to the event with a blue pinstripe suit, pink shirt and an elephant brooch on his lapel.
