Queen Camilla debuts new silk gown with staple £3,945 blue bracelet

Queen Camilla and King Charles welcomed a host of famous faces to Windsor Castle yesterday to honour the 400th anniversary of the publication of the first Shakespeare Folio.

The 76-year-old styled a new blue dress for the occasion which she teamed with her signature blonde locks worn loosely down.

Made from a delicate silk fabric, Camilla’s gown was a couture number by one of her favourite designers, Fiona Clare.

It featured a silk-chiffon body decorated with tiny dots woven on in different colours and was finished with ruffled detailing down the centre.

Despite being a new addition to the Queen’s wardrobe, the Fiona Clare gown had exactly the same silhouette as most of her other dresses by the designer.

The silk gown was shaped with three-quarter length frilled sleeves, a pleated a-line skirt cut just below the knee, and a soft tunic-style v-neck.

Camilla’s dress was also made in her favourite shade of blue which she almost always wears to official engagements.

However, there was one unique feature of this flattering dress. While the Queen almost always opts for plain fabrics, the woven dot details gave the garment an edge when they glistened in the light.

This shimmering effect made for a more glamorous look for the special occasion.

Staying true to her trademark look, the royal paired the new dress with some of her favourite jewels, including her Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet.

The $5,123 (£3,954) design is known specifically as the Vintage Alhambra five Motifs 18k Yellow Gold & Agate Bracelet.

Complete with five four-leaf clover-style charms saturated in bright blue, the statement piece is held dearly by the Queen as a token of good fortune.

Camilla wore the bracelet on her left wrist along with a stack of other dainty gold pieces to compliment her hair and blue dress.

Teamed with her bright blonde hair, the royal looked radiant as she donned yet another new take on her signature style at Windsor Castle.
