Rosanna Arquette was taken to hospital after crashing her car into a shopping center, it has been claimed.

The Pulp Fiction actress, 63, reportedly ‘lost control’ of her car while in Malibu, when she drove into the Point Dume Village shopping center on Tuesday.

It is thought that she was attempting to park her car at the time, and was left shaken by the accident.

‘We can confirm Rosanna Arquette was involved in a traffic incident in Malibu,’ a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement to People Magazine.

The Nowhere to Run star has yet to speak out over the reports.

According to reports, authorities responded to calls after a motorist drove her vehicle through the back of the shopping center on the morning of July 11.

Malibu/Lost Hills’ Sheriff’s Deputy Navarro told Fox News: ‘It appeared that she had possibly lost control of her vehicle.

‘At the time of the incident, it did not appear that she had any injuries.’

The crash is currently under investigation but there is no suggestion that the driver was impaired due to alcohol or drugs, the outlet reports.

Speaking after the crash, which happened near Lily’s restaurant, Los Angeles Fire Station 71 Captain Mike Rivera said: ‘Around 9.45 am, a vehicle that was attempting to park, it was unknown exactly what happened, but instead of backing out, it went forward, and took out three pillars that support the roof.
