PS5 India Restock: July 26 Pre-Order Deliveries Ship Out This Week
If you pre-ordered a PS5 during the July 26 restock, your console should be shipping out this week. Several sources in the supply chain speaking to IGN India on condition of anonymity have confirmed that Sony has started sending out PS5s to stores this week. About time when you consider that another PS5 restock is potentially in the works.
That said, as we reported earlier, you can expect your PS5 to reach you by the second week of August latest. While there’s no concrete date, it can be safe to assume that customers may be able to get theirs as early as next week if we go by past PS5 deliveries, barring complications from various lockdowns in the country because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Can You Still Buy a PS5 in India?
A few retailers tend to hold back a few stocks to make available on their storefronts later on. This happens as not all of them have complete clarity of their stock allocation from Sony. In such situations we’d recommend using a Twitter bot to scope out any last moment listings.
Aside from that, your best bet would be to wait for the next round of PS5 restocks. Considering the frequency of these restocks in more recent times, however, we wouldn’t be too surprised if another slate of restocks gets announced soon enough. Keep in mind that you could buy one from the grey/parallel market but you’ll be paying more and won’t get any warranty.
