Promising Lions midfielder reportedly in line for new contract
MILLWALL are reportedly in discussions to tie down promising talent Billy Mitchell to a new contract.
Gary Rowett’s side has produced some good you prospects recently and Mitchell has been able to cement his spot in the first team.
The youngster is seen as vital for the club’s plans going forward, making the need for a new contract important, especially as his current contract expires at the end of the current season.
According to Football League World talks are already underway over a new deal to keep the midfielder at The New Den.
The Orpington-born 20-year-old who joined Millwall as a youth player has worked his way into the first team. This is a pathway that is always enjoyed by fans.
He made his debut during the 2018/19 season for the club and after a couple of years making a handful of appearances, he is now a regular in the first-team plans.
