Project K billboard makes an appearance at Times Square

South Indian film industries are setting a new trend by appearing on the Time Square Billboard in New York. Previously, Mahesh Babu’s daughter was seen on a famous billboard advertising a well-known jewellery brand. Later, Vijay fans shared a video of the actor celebrating his birthday there. Prabhas’ upcoming pan-Indian film, Project K, has made it there. An ad for the film was shown, along with the date for the first look, and Prabhas shared a video clip of it on social media.

Prabhas shared the video and wrote, “#ProjectK billboard at Times Square. First glimpse on July 20.”

Project K, directed by Nag Ashwin, is the next big thing in Telugu cinema. It is rumoured to be a dystopian film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan. The film’s creators have been hard at work creating a world for Project K from the ground up, which they have shared in a series of videos titled “From Skratch.”

The film’s creators are keeping the plot and other details of the project under wraps. However, the film’s producer, Ashwini Dutt, stated in an interview that Project K is a sci-fi fantasy about a futuristic version of the Hindu god Vishnu. She also revealed that Project K is heavily reliant on CGI.

The film stars Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj in pivotal roles, with music by Ravi Basrur. Salaar will be in theatres in September.
