Princess Leonor and Sofia’s style at Easter receives mixed reviews
The heir to the throne in the Spanish Royal Family, Princess Leonor, 17, looked beautiful on Easter Saturday when she attended the 60th anniversary of the Living Passion of Christ in Chinchón, Spain with the rest of her family. Leonor was also joined by her younger sister, Infanta Sofia, 15.
What did Princess Leonor wear?
The 17-year-old donned a Roberto Verino grey vest which was previously worn by her mother, Queen Letizia, 50.
The Queen of Spain wore the grey wool double-breasted vest earlier this year in January when she attended a meeting at the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
Leonor teamed this vest with a pair of Adolfo Dominguez black mules. These were also previously worn by both Letizia and Infanta Sofia.
These shoes were purchased in 2018 by the Queen of Spain who wore them at the “5th Educational Congress on Rare Diseases” at the High School “Pedro de Valdivia”.

Sofia, when she was 13 years old, wore the shoes with an entirely black outfit to take a minute of silence for the coronavirus victims at the Zarzuela Palace in May 2020.
Now the shoes are being worn by Princess Leonor for Easter Saturday.
These shoes are described as: “Black leather mule slippers made of bovine leather upper with a covered low heel.”
Royal fans were divided on Princess Leonor’s look for the religious occasion.
Instagram user @llint3 was pleased and said: “How to wear something new without buying new! Love it.”
Similarly, @rebpat1113 wrote: “Ultimate rewears. Sharing clothes. I love it. She looks great.”
However, @cattym63 commented: “She is a lovely Princess but the vest doesn’t suit her at all. Not the right colour, not the right shape.”
In addition, @dimasajic added: “Princess Leonor is lovely, but this look isn’t age appropriate. It’s nice, casual and cool, but it seems she has better options for this occasion.”

What did Infanta Sofia wear?
For the 60th anniversary of the Living Passion of Christ in Chinchón, Sofia wore a new IKKS black short leather jacket with shoulder tabs.
The jacket costs a whopping £445 and it looked very cool on the 15-year-old royal.
The description says: “This black leather jacket has a 70s vibe with a short fit making it one to enjoy.
“Whatever twist you want to give it, the checkerboard lining gives it the top spot on the fashion podium.”
The royal paired her jacket with some Reebok Club C 85 trainers in white, which were a repeat wear for Sofia.
Infanta Sofia has owned these trainers since 2021. Their description reads: “The women’s Club C 85 trainers from Reebok are easy to rock with any outfit.
“These leather lace-ups feature a classic design that is updated with modern comfort for your new favourite pair.” These trainers are still in stock for £70 if fans wish to dress like the Spanish royal.
