Princess Kate steps out in Soho wearing her Eponine London red coat
Kate has worn her red coat dress twice in public before, once to launch the Hold Still book and again on a visit to Cardiff Castle during the Platinum Jubilee.
The coat dress is an ankle-length piece from Eponine’s AW18 line. It is constructed from a wool-crepe fabric and has a mandarin collar, pockets, bracelet-length sleeves, and six huge buttons.
When Kate first wore the coat dress, Eponine encouraged their Instagram fans to contact them to inquire about custom orders or make a purchase. The value of the garment is therefore unknown.
Underneath the coat, Kate wore her Suzannah dress which she previously wore at a ceremony to honour Grenfell Tower last year.

The dress is called the “white flippy wiggle dress”, which costs a whopping £2,790.
The definition says: “A beautiful white, pure Italian silk crepe, soft shirt dress. A re-interpretation from our own vintage archive for the Suzannah London Collection.
“The original inspiration derives from a late 1940s Wiggle Dress, which we have re-cut to have it skim over the bodice with a fluid gentle soft movement throughout the skirt, from the hips to the hemline.
“The silhouette is contoured around the waist and front yoke with delicate pin-tucks. The dress is designed to be an elegant tea-length featuring beautiful half-length sleeves with a buttoned cuff.
Their description says: “Just as vibrant as a real-life Cha-cha! Add chunkiness and pearly feels to turn every day into a fun, energizing dance.”
For footwear, the Princess wore her Jimmy Choo “Romy 85” optic white leather pumps which perfectly matched her white dress.
Royal fans loved Kate’s style, with Instagram user @achy1205 saying: “Catherine chic as always!”
In addition, @bestofmiddleton commented: “All repeats! Lovely to see. She looks beautiful.”
