Princess Kate glows in £450 silk maxi dress at Chelsea Flower Show

Princess Kate visited Royal Hospital, Chelsea for the first day of the RHS Flower Show today.

The royal stepped out in a pink colour block midi dress from London-based brand, ME+EM.

Crafted from 100 percent silk, the pink shirt dress features a full-length sleeve, a slim fit across the arms and shoulders, a midi-length dipped hem, a button front and a removable belt.

The classic garment retails for £450 and is a fast-selling piece, loved by royal fans. The Princess of Wales debuted the elegant style in May 2021, during a royal visit to Scotland.

Spotted with her signature brunette locks loosely down, the 41-year-old paired the summery dress with plain shoes.

For an added touch of glamour, Kate wore her Castañer Carina Wedge Espadrilles in a toasted brown shade.

The shoes are in stock via NET-A-PORTER for £135 and are a staple look for the royal.

Often styled on warm-weather occasions by the Princess of Wales, the chic wedges feature thin straps that crisscross at the ankle.

The high jute heel adds extra length to her slender figure and toned legs.

In a sweet tribute to the horticultural event, Kate opted for her gold fern leaf earrings.

The drop style is by Catherine Zoraida, made from 18ct gold-plated silver.

Available to purchase for £165, the elegant jewels are a signature style worn by the fashionable royal.

The Princess of Wales’s entire outfit appears to be restyled items from her wardrobe, with the earrings also a beloved item worn on several occasions in the past.

Loved by the late Queen Elizabeth II, the Chelsea Flower Show 2023 marks the first one since her death.

To honour her memory, a garden celebrating her life will be featured this year. It will include the favourite plants of both Queen Elizabeth and King Charles.

A life-size topiary of the late Queen’s fell pony, Emma will also be on display.

Last year Kate was joined by her three young children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, for a private visit to the gardens.

The royal family traditionally tour the gardens at Chelsea, and The Princess of Wales even designed one of them herself back in 2019.

Known for being family-oriented, the mother-of-three’s “Back to Nature” garden was inspired by her childhood.

It included a hand-built treehouse and a rope swing, along with a touching tribute to the late Princess Diana.

Kate was sure to feature forget-me-nots – Diana’s favourite flower, in the carefully curated design.
