Addressing the gathering at the seminar as chief guest at KU, President Murmu Gita gives us code to live life to its fullest. In Shrimad Bhagvad Gita Lord Krishna takes us out of the conflicts of life and shows us the way to get rid of tension, dilemma and unhappiness. By including the teaching of Gita in our behavior, we can move forward in the direction of a stable, successful and dilemma-free life in the twenty-fifth century.
President Murmu said that Srimad Bhagvada Gita is an International book in the true sense. There have been many translations of Gita in many languages. This is the most famous and popular book which Bharat has given to the world. The number of commentaries that have been written on Gita outnumber commentaries on any other religious book. Just as Yoga is India’s gift to the entire world community, similarly Yogashastra Gita is also the spiritual gift of mother India to the entire humanity. Gita also preaches us to leave cowardice and adopt bravery. Brave soldiers, hardworking farmers and struggling daughters of Haryana have made Haryana and the whole country proud in their field of work by imbibing the teachings of Gita in their lives, she said.
