Adriana Lima is showing off her baby bump on the catwalk as she prepares to welcome a baby boy.
Like trailblazer Rihanna, who is expecting her first child with rapper A$AP Rocky, pregnant model Adriana is taking maternity wear to the next level as she proves there’s no reason women should hide their bodies when they are pregnant.
The Brazilian model, 40, announced in February she was expecting a baby with movie producer boyfriend Andre Lemmers.
She is due to give birth next autumn, but isn’t letting her changing body take her away from her work, and is instead wearing outfits to accentuate it.
On Tuesday, new-mum-to-be Adriana stalked the runway at the Alexander Wang Fortune City show in Los Angeles in a daring outfit that showed off her bump.
The Ugly Betty star confidently strode down the catwalk in a short black dress with a plunging neckline and a cut-out that bared her stomach.
She paired the thigh-scraping LBD with sizzling black thigh-high boots that left just a sliver of skin visible in between.
Adriana was sexy as ever as she gazed confidently into the middle distance for the fashion show, her striking dark lipstick standing out against otherwise natural-looking makeup.
This week, Adriana and partner Andre joyously announced the news they were preparing to welcome a baby boy together, sharing a sweet gender reveal video of the family.
In the cute clip, Adriana, Andre and some extended family stand in front of a massive sign adorned in pink and blue balloons which asks: ‘Boy or girl?’
Friends and family at the gender reveal were asked what sex they believe the new arrival will be, with all four children guessing it will be a girl, but Adriana admitting she hopes it will be a boy.
Adriana gets her wish, as when the family counts down backwards to one, cannons go off spraying blue powder into the air.
The new arrival will be Adriana’s third child, as she shared daughters Valentina, 12, and 9-year-old Sienna with her ex-husband, NBA player Marko Jaríc.
She and dad-to-be Andre became involved last year after her divorce to Marko was finalised.
