The final trailer for Adipurush was unveiled at an enormous event in Tirupati on Tuesday evening The film is a contemporary retelling of the Ramayana and features Prabhas as Raghava and Kriti Sanon as Janaki. Talking at the event, Prabhas discussed his marriage, which has been a subject of conversation.
During his address, Prabhas’ supporters in the audience asked when he will marry. “Marriage? Someday, I’ll get married in Tirupati only,” Prabhas stated. Prabhas and his Adipurush co-star Kriti Sanon had been speculated to be dating for some time, but they have both refuted the rumours.
Prabhas also revealed that actor Chiranjeevi told him that he is very lucky to be a part of Ramayana. He said, “Once, Chiranjeevi sir asked me if I’m doing Ramayana. ‘Yes, sir’, I told him. ‘That’s your blessing. Not everyone is lucky enough to work on such a project. You’ve got the opportunity’.”
Aditpurush is helmed by Om Raut and is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. The film stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles.
Adipurush is slated to be released theatrically on June 16, 2023, in five languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
