Poundland doubles home delivery service extending to major UK cities – full list
Poundland is known for its incredibly low prices, stocking a huge variety of items from food to homeware. The discount store first launched its home delivery trial at the beginning of the year and has been working to make it widely available for customers across the UK.
Poundland retail and transformation director, Austin Cooke, said: “After a positive response to our initial pilot, we opened the trial to more areas in the Midlands and now we’re making another move which will take us across a big part of the Midlands and into Yorkshire.
All items stocked on Poundland’s website are the same price as in stores, and are delivered for a flat fee of £4.
This standard delivery price is paid regardless of the order size and there is no minimum order size.
Orders are fulfilled from Poundland’s new fulfilment centre, a former store in Cannock, Staffordshire, and all orders are delivered by Hermes.

Poundland also recently opened 55 new stores, with the intention to introduce more frozen and chilled items to its growing grocery range.
In new stores, customers can find more “day-to-day” brands like Nutella, Marmite and Old El Paso.
More frozen and chilled areas have also been added to some stores, reaching more than 130 branches across the UK.
Austin Cooke, retail and transformation director said: “The past year has shown how important Poundland stores are to their local communities and providing a range of chilled and frozen food means our customers can get more of what they need in one shopping trip.
“Where we’ve given stores a makeover, the feedback has been tremendous.
“Shoppers love the extended ranges, and not just in chilled and frozen, and they really like the store layouts and the work we’ve done to make it easier to shop and checkout.”
To add to its portfolio of stores, Poundland opened its first new convenience store back in May which focuses on offering more staple items such as household products.
