Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: How to find the Shell Bell
RAIDS in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are some of the best parts in the game, but you need a good Pokémon in order to take them on.
One way to help your Pokémon is to equip the Shell Bell, an item that restores 1/8th of the damage dealt to the opponent.
Raid bosses have massive health bars many times the size of a normal Pokémon, meaning you can restore to full with one hit.
Here’s how to get your hands on the Shell Bell in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Where to find the Shell Bell
There are two ways you can get the Shell Bell in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
The easiest way is to buy one from Delibird Presents in Levincia, where you can find it under Battle Items.
It costs 20k so it isn’t the cheapest item, but is well worth it. If you purchase it, you can also get as many Shell Bells as you want.
There is just one free Shell Bell that you can get in both Scarlet and Violet.
It is one of the rewards given by the Battle Rep at the Pokécenter in South Province Area Three.
In order to get it for him, you will need to defeat six trainers in the area.
There are 18 people who will battle you in that region, but you have to talk to them to start the battle.
You will know if they want to battle, because as you approach them, they will have a yellow speech bubble above their heads.
The only thing to be careful of is if you stray out of the specific region required to get your prize.
Keep checking that the area doesn’t change. When you move to a different area, the new area will display at the top of the screen, so you will know you’ve gone too far.
Once you have defeated six trainers, come back to the Battle Rep to get your rewards. You can get there easily by flying taxi.
Unfortunately, this is a one-time-only deal. Afterwards, you have to purchase them if you want more Shell Bells.
