PlayStation Network DOWN for over an hour leaving players unable to go online
PLAYSTATION players were left unable to go online for over an hour this morning due to a major outage.
Sony confirmed at the time that “some services are experiencing issues”.
But it now appears full service has resumed.
PS5, PS4, PS3 and PS Vita gamers all flocked to Twitter to report problems from about 7am GMT / 2am ET.
It meant many were unable to sign into their account or do things online like playing with friends.
According to the firm’s on service status site, it affected game streaming, PlayStation Store and PlayStation Direct.
“You might have difficulty launching games, apps or network features,” the site said at the time.
“We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.”
Regarding PlayStation Store, it added: “You might have difficulty getting products in PlayStation Store.”
Players were left unable to purchase, download, browse, search or redeem vouchers.
