Plastic surgeon lists Cherry Hills Village mansion for $7.7M
Heidi and Andrew Wolfe love to cook and entertain. And they designed their Cherry Hills Village dream home for that purpose.
The kitchen features a 72-inch French Lacanche range, two Miele dishwashers, and two refrigerators. The couple converted the pantry into a walk-through kitchen, which makes the kitchen area more functional for entertaining.
The home also has an outdoor kitchen on the covered patio by the infinity pool and hot tub.
“That gave us an amazing extension of our indoor home,” Heidi Wolfe says. “We could entertain or have movie nights.”
The 10,601-square-foot home, completed in 2019 by Cornerstone Custom Homes, was initially designed to have a craftsman-style look.
But the Wolfes — he’s a cosmetic plastic surgeon and she’s a retired nurse — wanted something different, so they worked with Cashen Architecture to modify the plans to create a European-style modern farmhouse.
With six bedrooms and eight baths, the home was perfect for the couple and their teenage sons.
The parents enjoyed having a primary suite on the main floor, while the sons each had a bedroom on the second floor and turned the third bedroom into a music room. The family also used one of the basement bedrooms as a home gym.
The house sits on just over an acre and backs up to a private community park, making the home quiet and private.
But now, with their sons in college, Wolfe says the home feels a little too quiet.
So, she and her husband are selling the house for $7.7 million and moving to a new home in Washington Park.
“We’re ready for a little more action and are excited for the energy of Wash Park,” she said.
The high-tech home at 2 Cherry Hills Farm Court comes with all the bells and whistles, says listing agent Libby Weaver with Helm Weaver Helm at Compass, including a Lutron lighting and blinds system, Savant Smart System and security cameras.
The Cherry Hills neighborhood is home to some of Denver’s best-known celebrities, including John Elway, Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, and Rockies third baseman Kris Bryant. Retired Broncos offensive lineman Orlando Franklin listed his renovated mansion in the neighborhood for $10 million in May before dropping the price to $7.5 million in September.
