Pimlico Plumbers founder’s stunning cars from £336k Bentley to £450k Rolls-Royce
THE jaw-dropping car collection of Pimlico Plumbers founder Charlie Mullin has been revealed – including a £336k Bentley Mulsanne and £450k Rolls-Royce.
Sidney Charles Mullins, 70, is the founder of London’s largest independent plumbing company, which he sold in 2021 for a whopping £140million.
Charles is also known for his collection of plumbing-themed number plates used on the company’s vehicle, worth around £1.5million.
Growing up on a council estate in south London in the 1950s and 1960s, he knew nothing about cars, The Sunday Times reports.
The closest the family came to owning a car was when his father got a job in a factory painting models and brought one home.
After becoming a plumber, he bought an old Morris Minor van for £35 at auction in 1952.
Seven years later, he founded Pimlico Plumbers – and managed to employ around 330 people.
And away from the construction industry, Charlie seems to love his motors.
Here we have broken out his eye-watering car collection.
Morris Minor van
The Morris Minor car is an economy car produced by the British manufacturer Morris Motors between 1948 to 1971.
Designed under the leadership of Alec Issigonis, over 1.3 million examples were manufactured from 1948-1971.
Initially available as a two-door saloon and convertible, the range was subsequently expanded to include a four-door saloon in 1950 and wood-framed estate, The Traveller, plus the panel van and pick-up truck variants in 1952.
And there are only 2,217 Morris Minor left in the UK with an MOT.
Ford Zephyr
The Ford Zephyr is an executive car manufactured by Ford of Britain from 1950 until 1972.
Initially, the four-cylinder version was named Ford Consul, but from 1962, both four- and six-cylinder versions were named Zephyr.
It had a top speed of 88.3mph and could accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 17 seconds.
BMW 325
The BMW E30 is the second generation of the BMW 3 series, which was produced from 1982 to 1994 – and replaced the E21 3 Series.
The model range included 2-door coupe and convertible body styles, as well as being the first 3 series to be produced in 4-door sedan and wagon body styles.
With a top speed of 135mph, this car can go from 0 to 62mph in 8.3 seconds.
Mercedes-Benz W211
The Mercedes-Benz W211 is the third generation Mercedez Benz-E-class made from 2002 to 2010.
According to ProfessCars, this supercar can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in just 7.5 seconds.
Bentley Mulsanne
This car was manufactured by Bentley from 20130 to 2020.
Designed to replace the Rolls-Royce-based Arnage, the Mulsanne was the first flagship car to be independently designed by Bentley Motors since W.O. Bentley’s 8-litre model in 1930.
Its top speed is 190mph, and it can reach 0-60mph in just 4.8 seconds.
This comes after he managed to get his flash £450,000 Rolls-Royce stuck on a bollard.
Plus, YouTuber Logan Paul’s amazing car collection was revealed, including a £280k Mercedes and £60k Dodge Challenger SRT8 muscle car.
