Phillip Schofield looks glum as he’s seen for first time after weeks in hiding

Phillip Schofield was pictured in Cornwall for the first time in weeks as the presenter looked glum-faced while he was seen tightly holding a vape following the public fallout.
The former This Morning presenter, 61, broke cover to celebrate his beloved mother’s birthday in preparation for the celebration as she will turn 87.

Phillip sported casual attire as he wore a blue t-shirt paired with white linen shorts and Converse trainers and he had a bag slung over one shoulder.

His appearance comes as the presenter has maintained a low profile in recent weeks as he admitted to an affair with a runner despite still being married.

Phillip quit This Morning last month and just days later he was dropped by his talent agency of 35 years after admitting to lying to his team and colleagues about their relationship.

Phillip clutched onto his phone, car keys and a vape in one hand as he sported a light tan and a haircut.

The ex-ITV host has since gone on to release a series of bombshell interviews where he discussed the backlash and the impact on his mental health.

Phillip admitted if it wasn’t for his two daughters he “would not be here” as he detailed their continued support of their dad.

The presenter said: “I do not know a time I will be able to walk out of the door. I don’t have any spirit. My friends tell me, ‘It will get better’. It won’t. Not now. Not this one.

Since moving on from ITV, Phillip told The Sun that he lived in fear after leaving the public eye.

He revealed that he had “lost everything” after admitting to the affair, which resulted in a “catastrophic effect” on his mind.

The TV presenter shared: “I do not know when I will be able to walk out of the door. I don’t have any spirit.

“Are they spitting on me because I had an affair at work and lied about it?,” he told The Sun.

Speaking about his mental state in his first interview following the affair controversial as he thanked his daughter for their endless support.

“Last week if my daughters hadn’t been there, I wouldn’t be here,” he said. “They’ve been by my side every moment because they’re scared to let me out of their sight.”

Phillip also revealed to BBC’s Amol Rajan that he had “lost everything” and that he sees “nothing ahead of [him] but blackness, and sadness, and regret, and remorse, and guilt”.
