Candidates can download the Ph.D. Entrance Exam 2023 intimation slip by simply logging in with their ‘Application Number’ and ‘Date of Birth’. The NTA will conduct the PhD Entrance Test for DU, JNU, BHU and BBAU on October 26, 27, 30 and 31, 2023 at various examination centres in different cities across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
Candidates should be aware that this is not the admit card for the entrance test. The advance intimation slip furnishes information about the examination centre’s location to assist candidates.
How to download PhD Entrance Test 2023?
Step 1. Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency at nta.ac.in
Step 2. On the homepage, click on ‘Login’ option
Step 3. A new page will open, enter your ‘Application Number’ and ‘Password’
Step 4. The NTA PhD exam city slip will be displayed on the screen
Step 5. Check all the details mentioned in the intimation slip
Step 6. Download and take a printout of the exam city slip for future reference

Exam Pattern
The Ph.D. Entrance Test for DU, JNU, BHU, and BBAU in 2023 will be held in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. The question paper will consist of two sections: Section 1 – Research Methodology, and Section 2 – on Subject-specific knowledge.
With the exception of the Ph.D. Entrance Test designed for various language programs, the Ph.D. Entrance Tests for DU, JNU, BHU, and BBAU in 2023 will be conducted solely in the English language. The examination will comprise a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), and candidates will be allotted a total of 3 hours to complete the entire test.
Marking Scheme
i) Each question carries 04 (four) marks.
ii) For each correct response, candidate will get 04 (four) marks.
iii) For each incorrect response, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score.
iv) Unanswered/unattempted responses will be given no marks.
