People finding three hidden Google buttons that slash your monthly bills
GOOGLE users have found a list of cost-cutting buttons that decrease monthly bills.
Jam-packed Google accounts cost internet users a lot of money – but some easy solutions exist.
Google accounts come with 15GB of free space before customers are asked to pay.
If internet users go over 15GBs of storage, Google offers services to expand the amount of available space.
Google’s three plans – basic, standard, and premium – extend storage to 100GB, 200GB, and 2TB respectively.
Each plan puts customers back between $2 a month and $10 a month.
But, customers on G-hacks have found quick-click buttons that make the monthly extensions less necessary.
Here are the suggestions:
1. CLEAN OUT GMAIL
Gmail account can rack up some serious data storage.
Old emails store data in accounts that a user may not need anymore.
Users can type in the search box “has:attachment larger:5MB”.
The search will pull up emails with larger attachment that are taking up a lot of space.
Customers can delete large emails by selecting the box on the left of the email notification and then hitting the trash bin at the top of the page.
2. DELETE OLD PHOTOS
Google Photos collects pictures from Android phones.
The pictures upload directly to user’s Google storage accounts – which may clog up available storage.
The company makes deleting unwanted photos easy.
Users can select photos that are no longer necessary and delete them using the trash icon at the top of the page.
3. REMOVE BIG FILES FROM DRIVE
Unnecessary documents can jam up storage inside a Google Drive too.
Drive offers customers to search contents by size – making clearing out the largest space-users easy.
There is a “Storage” button on the left side of the Drive page that allows customers to sort the documents.
Similar to Gmail and Photos apps, customers can select unnecessary documents and clear out by clicking the trash icon.
