But fans were quick to notice that the wearable looks remarkably like another pair of goggles we’ve seen before.

Everyone is comparing the Apple headset to skiing goggles.

“This @apple VR Headset is great for the people that want to look like they’re always skiing but don’t really enjoy skiing!” one user joked on Twitter.

“If you got bored with the Apple goggles you can still use them for skiing,” another quipped.

“I have skiing goggles at home for 50 bucks,” another said.

“Look the same, and I can see real mountains and snow with it.”

Others have drawn upon Google’s failed attempt at a wearable ten years ago.

“And people laughed at Google Glass,” one commented.

“Google Glass was the best looking VR out there would pick it over the new Apple VR,” another said.

The Apple Vision Pro can be controlled using your head, hands, voice and even your eyes.

You can display things like popular apps, as well as a special cinema environment feature and the ability to make the screen feel like it’s larger than the room you’re in.

Apple chief Tim Cook said that the headset would usher in a new era of “spatial computing.”

The headset will also let you FaceTime and view people as if they’re in the room.

Meanwhile panoramic images can wrap around you and make you feel like you’re back in the place you took it.

But it’ll cost an eye-watering $3,499 – and won’t be available until early 2024.
