People are just realising iPhone has a game-changing voicemail hack
LISTENING to voicemails can be a pain but thankfully there is another way.
Not everyone is aware that your iPhone can actually transcribe the message for you, so you don’t have to listen to the audio at all.
It’s been available for sometime but does have limitations.
For example, it’s only available in certain countries like the UK and US, and will only work with English too.
And Apple warns that transcription depends on the quality of the recording as well.
If it’s something you’re interested in trying, just follow these instructions.
How to see voicemail transcriptions on iPhone
Transcription voicemails will work on iPhones running iOS 10 or later, so most iPhones should be able to use it.
If your device is able to transcribe a voicemail, it should automatically appear with each message you receive.
These are all kept in the usual place, the Voicemail tab under the main Phone app.

Go there and you may get a “Transcribing Voicemail…” message if you haven’t done it before.
After a while, the transcription text should appear.
It’s possible there are some blanks for any bits the system was not able to recognise.
Give it a go next time you receive a voicemail and see if it saves some time.
