TikTok user @tatechtips uploaded a video demonstrating how the “amazing” hack is done to his 1.6 million followers.
To begin with, use Google search to find your preferred GIF.
After clicking on images, seek out your preferred graphic, right click and choose ‘Save Image As…’ and save it.
The tech influencer then clicks on the edit icon located on the bottom right-hand corner of any Google tab.
Drag the cursor towards the ‘Upload from device’ box, select your graphic and simply press ‘Open’.
The video then cuts to a fresh, futuristic background, with the TikToker concluding: “And now, boom!
“There you go, you’ve got your GIF saved as your Google desktop background.
“Sweet!”
A number of users flocked to the comments to hail the savvy tech hack.
One said: “This is so dope!”
Another agreed: “Never knew about that one!”
A third chimed in: “First! That’s amazing!”
It comes after one TikToker revealed the key iPhone setting to stop pals snooping on your notifications – and has racked up thousands of likes.
