People are just realising car button can make your life a lot easier
A CAR whizz has revealed a little-known car button that can make your life a lot easier.
Motors enthusiast Nick Siebecker took to TikTok to share the handy hack, which can help keep your car cool in hot weather.
Nick showed viewers a rare feature on one of his cars related to its sunroof.
In the video, he can be seen reaching for the switch that opens and closes the window.
However, in the middle of the switch is a small button that offers a halfway house between the two.
Pressing it cracks the sunroof open and tilts it slightly towards the front of the car.
This lets passengers to enjoy the tinted glass’ full protection from the Sun’s rays, while also allowing a better airflow through the vehicle, preventing it from overheating.
You can identify the button by its symbol: the outline of a car with a small gap in it at the roof.
Not all cars with sunroofs can do this, but it’s worth looking out for as it’s a neat option to have.
Nick also joked that it could act as a miniature spoiler for the car, dubbing the video with a clip of mechanic and internet personality Rob Pitts saying “God help me I’ve got a racecar”.
Social media commenters were certainly impressed by the trick.
One wrote: “50 style points.”
Another joked “You could do a hairpin at 200mph with that downforce.”
It comes after a fellow TikToker revealed a little-known feature that can make your car journey much more comfortable.
Meanwhile, a mechanic with 55 years’ experience explained why resale prices of electric cars are plummeting.
