  • 21:46 (IST)

PBKS vs MI Live: Good bowling

Only two runs came off Rishi Dhawan’s second over. This is brilliant bowling from the right-arm pacer. He dismissed Rohit Sharma in his first over and now, even though he didn’t pick a wicket, he has put the pressure on MI batters with an economical over.

    MI 23/1 (3)

  • 21:40 (IST)

PBKS vs MI Live: Back-to-back FOURS!

16 runs came off Arshdeep Singh’s first over. He bowled well but was a tad unlucky. While a catch of Ishan Kishan fell short of mid-on fielder in his over, an edge off Kishan’s willow went over short third for a four.

0.3 – What a start for PBKS! Rishi Dhawan has got the wicket of Rohit Sharma. It was a good length ball and Rohit edged it to Matthew Short at third man.

    PBKS 205/3 (19)

  • 21:00 (IST)

  • 20:48 (IST)

PBKS vs MI Live: Economical over

  • 20:29 (IST)

PBKS vs MI Live: Short is out!

    PBKS 99/3 (12)

10.4 – Welcome to IPL Akash Madhwal! The debutant bowled back-to-back toe-crushing yorkers, but once he missed his length, Livingstone smoked it into the crowd for a six. No place for error!

16 runs came off it but it was an impressive over from Madhwal.

    PBKS 94/2 (11)

  • 20:12 (IST)

India’s T20 specialist batter Suryakumar Yadav scored 55 runs of 29 balls against Rajasthan Royals in Mumbai Indians’ previous game. • 18:43 (IST)

PBKS vs MI Live: Rohit Sharma’s poor batting form

MI skipper Rohit’s form, though, is the biggest concern for the five-time IPL champions and much would depend on the India captain on Wednesday to shore up his side, after contributing just three runs in the match against the Royals.

PBKS vs MI Live: Batting woes for Punjab Kings

Punjab Kings are known to play aggressive cricket, though their biggest drawback is an unreliable top order. Barring Shikhar Dhawan and to an extent his opening partner Prabhsimran Singh, very few PBKS batters have contributed enough to their overall totals, though all that changed in their previous game against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk on April 30.
