MANILA, Philippines—Christian Standhardinger is still leading the PBA Governors’ Cup Best Player of the Conference at the end of the tournament’s semifinals.

The bruiser remains first in statistical points with 44.2 with San Miguel’s CJ Perez firmly behind with 38.3.

Fellow Gin King Jamie Malonzo, TNT’s Roger Pogoy and MVP frontrunner Scottie Thompson make up the top five.

Ginebra and TNT advances to the best-of-seven Finals series after bundling out San Miguel and Meralco, respectively.

Without star big man Japeth Aguilar for Ginebra, Standhardinger has been stepping up big time, averaging a double-double in the season-ending conference with 23.5 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.

The two imports clashing in the Governors’  Cup Finals are also the top two in the Best Import of the Conference race.

Tropang Giga’s Rondae Hollis-Jefferson held the No. 1 spot comfortably after the semis with 57.1 SPs after averaging 30.4 markers and 12.4 boards per night.

Just below is naturalized player iJustin Brownlee with 52.5 SPs a discernibly large margin away from Hollis-Jefferson.

Brownlee is averaging 27.3 points and 10.5 boards per game to go along with 6.9 assists per game under coach Tim Cone.

Stanhardinger may be a lock for the BPC award but the Best Import plum is still up for grabs as both RHJ and Brownlee can still jockey for position in the PBA Governors’ Cup Finals starting this Easter Sunday.
