Patrick Mahomes’ brother shown dumping water on Ravens fans in video; Mahomes responds

Patrick Mahomes’ brother, Jackson Mahomes, went viral because of a video that shows him dumping a bottle of water on Ravens fans during the “Sunday Night Football” matchup.

The Chiefs’ quarterback responded, saying that while he should not have done that, there were things said off the video that weren’t shown.

“Yeah, I mean, obviously it’s something that we don’t want to necessarily do,” Mahomes said, according to the Kansas City Star. “There was things said to him, and Brittany, that you don’t see kind of on the clip. But, I mean he’s been good at it, at not trying to respond to that stuff.

“He takes a lot and he’s usually pretty good at it, and he’ll learn from it and just try to stay away from those people as best he can.”

The video starts with several Ravens’ fans saying, “Let’s go” and adding that they “feel sorry for you” while looking up at the box where Jackson and Brittany Matthews, Patrick’s fiancee, were sitting. Jackson opens up a bottle of water and shakes it over the Ravens’ fans, who flip the camera around and continue to show their excitement about winning the game.

Jackson took to Twitter to respond, saying that, “they were thirsty.”
