Shah Rukh Khan, the iconic Bollywood superstar, captured the hearts of young fans with his mesmerising movie “Pathaan,” which emerged as the undisputed favorite among kids, according to the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 that garnered record 17 lakh votes.

Khan earned the prestigious title of Favorite Movie Actor, solidifying his position as a beloved figure in the industry. Furthermore, the talented Kiara Advani was bestowed with the title of Favorite Movie Actor (Female), while the duo of Hrithik Roshan and Madhuri Dixit were hailed as the Favorite Dancing Stars (Male) and (Female), respectively.

The sports realm witnessed the triumph of badminton champion PV Sindhu, who once again secured the title of Favorite Sportsperson. The Kids’ Choice Awards also recognised the talents of Ayushmann Khurrana, Kartik Aryan, and Bhumi Pednekar, who received special accolades for their contributions to the entertainment industry.

Celebrating the world of music, the infectious Oscar-awarded track “Naatu Naatu” from the movie “RRR” captivated young hearts, earning the honor of Favorite Song (South) at the awards ceremony. In the realm of gaming, the addictive “Candy Crush Saga” claimed the prestigious title of Favorite Mobile Game, captivating children with its engaging gameplay.

Nickelodeon’s cherished animated series “Motu Patlu” stole the show as the Favorite Show on Kids Channel, while the affable Motu himself received the esteemed recognition as the Favorite Indian Cartoon Character.

Recognising the burgeoning influence of digital platforms, Ashish Chanchlani was hailed as the Favorite YouTube Artist, while the charismatic Yo Yo Honey Singh claimed the title of Favorite Rapper. Cricket legends Virat Kohli and Mithali Raj emerged as the favorite cricketers among young enthusiasts.

The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 will be digitally simulcast on June 28, 2023, across various network platforms, including Nickindia.com, Sonicgang.com, and the social media platforms of Nickelodeon India, Sonic Gang, MTV India, and Colors.
