Passengers shocked by man’s ‘unhinged’ method of avoiding luggage costs
A MAN has been labelled “unhinged” by both passengers and flight attendants for his method of avoiding luggage costs.
Most people try their hardest to try and squeeze as much as they can into their carry on backpack when getting on a plane, but this man is not like most people.
His girlfriend Sophia Rosenblum (@sophiarosenblum) shared his method of reducing his chances of getting charged for extra hand luggage, which appalled a lot of people.
In a video on Tiktok, Sophia revealed how he gets on the plane with nothing at all, instead of taking a bag.
She captioned the video: “Pls send to jail immediately” labelling his behaviour a “beige flag” – meaning a quirk that someone has that their partner finds off putting.
She wrote: “My boyfriend’s beige flag is that he refuses to bring any bag or backpack on the plane with him.
“He travels with no chargers, snacks, water, literally anything. Just vibes.
“Someone please help this man.”
Of the 57,000 people who had seen the video, many were on Sophia’s side, including cabin crew members.
One wrote: “I’m a flight attendant and anytime I see a man do this I am shocked!”
Another person simply said: “This is unhinged.”
A third added: “I’m sorry, this isn’t even normal.”
However, there were a few people on his side, with some suggesting it’s a much better way to travel.
One said: “Literally me!! It’s just perfection at its finest.”
Another added: “I started doing this too and it’s great. There is never enough room under the seat in front of you to put your backpack.”
Either way, Sophia’s boyfriend won’t be getting fined for his luggage any time soon, unlike plenty of other people recently.
That includes Adriana Ocampo, who tried to dodge an airline’s baggage charge by wearing almost six kilos of clothing.
The passenger piled on 15 garments, including t-shirts, jackets, jumpers and trousers after realising her carry-on luggage exceeded the maximum weight limit.
She eventually conceded defeat and had to stump up a £35 fine.
Meanwhile, this Ryanair flight attendant revealed the hilarious truth about Tiktok hand luggage hacks
And this is the perfect bag for to buy to use for hand luggage.
