Partner Content | Raptors vs. Celtics same-game parlay picks: Pick Toronto against underhanded Boston
The Toronto Raptors remain on the road for another game with the Boston Celtics.
The pregame narrative: Boston can’t move up or down in the standings, making this a meaningless game for the squad. Plenty of Celtics will possibly be riding the bench, so we’re riding Toronto and the under on alternate lines. Thirdly, we’re expecting OG Anunoby to usurp his points, rebounds and assists line.

Raptors vs. Celtics same-game parlay picks
Parlay: Raptors +8.5 + Under 230.5 points + Anunoby over 21.5 PRA (+275)
Raptors +8.5 (-286) : This game means quite a bit for Toronto and absolutely nothing for Boston, so we’re not expecting the latter to blow out the former.
When these two last met on Wednesday, the Celtics still had something to play for. They were within reach of the Milwaukee Bucks for first and not far enough ahead of the Philadelphia 76ers to stay out of third. Even with all that on the line, they only managed a 97-93 victory.
Boston’s lineup will likely look different on Friday as the team may take this as an opportunity to rest some key members. Seven players are on the team’s injury report ahead of this one.
Toronto held up well in the first leg of this back-to-back, and we’re expecting a strong follow-up effort as the squad battles for seeding in the play-in tournament.
The Raptors haven’t lost by nine-plus points in 12 consecutive games.
Other parlay picks
Under 230.5 points (-265) : These two combined for just 190 points on Wednesday and we’re doubting that number’s going to rise for a couple of reasons.
The first is Toronto’s offence. It’s no secret at this point that the Raps aren’t a prolific bunch on that side of the court, averaging the eighth-fewest points per game (112.9) this season. They’ve gone under this number in six of their last seven games.
Secondly, it’s hard to pencil Boston in for many points when the team’s lineup could be missing five of its six top scorers as Jayson Tatum (probable), Malcolm Brogdon (questionable), Derrick White (questionable), Marcus Smart (questionable), and Al Horford (probable) are all dealing with injury.
Even if Tatum and Horford play, it could just be limited action for both with very little at stake.
Anunoby over 21.5 PRA (-110) : This is a line we’re comfortable backing Anunoby on as it doesn’t require him to do more than he normally does.
The Toronto shooting guard is averaging 23.9 points, rebounds and assists this year, putting this mark well within his reach. Although he didn’t clear this total (18) in his most recent outing against Boston, he is surpassing it frequently lately.
Anunoby has 22-plus points, rebounds and assists in six of his last seven games.
