Partner Content | New England Revolution vs. Toronto FC odds and best bet: Back the visitors at BMO Field
Toronto FC look to make it two straight victories when they host the New England Revolution this Saturday.
The pregame narrative: The Reds picked up their second win of the season last week after besting New York City FC 1-0 at BMO Field. That was a nice change of pace considering they are 10 games in. Now they’ll have to deal with a Revolution side that sits atop the Eastern Conference with a stellar 6-3-1 record.

New England Revolution vs. Toronto FC odds
A win is a win but Toronto will likely have to pot more than one goal if it wants to beat New England.
The Revolution are firing on all cylinders and are unbeaten in their past seven games, having scored at least once in each of those contests. That said, New England has a win, a draw, and a loss in its past three road contests, so picking up points isn’t completely out of the question.
We also shouldn’t be too down on TFC considering they’ve only lost two of 10 games — their six draws are tied for the most of any team in MLS.
Lorenzo Insigne played a full 90 minutes for the Reds last weekend, which is another promising sign. He missed six games with an injury before returning to action on April 14 against Atlanta United.
He’ll need to be heavily involved Saturday because Toronto’s 13 goals for are underwhelming. The team has yet to score three goals in a game this year, though Bob Bradley’s side has scored two goals on five separate occasions.
In other injury news, New England’s star forward Dylan Borrero suffered a season-ending knee injury last week. That’s a big blow and could partially explain why Toronto is favoured despite having a far worse record.
TFC tied the Revolution twice last season in a 0-0 and a 2-2 match.
Best TFC bet
New England to win or tie (-120) : At the end of the day, New England has only lost one game this season and Toronto has only won two. We’re not expecting either trend to be bucked on Saturday night.
The lack of Borrero takes some offensive pop out of the Revolution’s game, no doubt, which should hinder their chances of putting up a big number against the Reds.
But Toronto isn’t exactly filling the net at will, either, and that should set up for a draw quite nicely. That would pay out at +270 but we’re taking the safer option of backing New England to win or tie at -120 to cover our bases if the Revolution pick up their seventh win in 11 games.
