Partner Content | MLB parlay picks April 3: Bet on Yankees’ Aaron Judge

There are 15 MLB games on Monday and countless parlay options.

The pregame narrative: Aaron Judge has some impressive numbers in limited plate appearances against Taijuan Walker and we’re betting on him to record a hit. The opposite is true for Josh Donaldson, so we’ll fade him. Lastly, we’re taking the under on Salvador Perez’s total bases prop.

Check out our MLB parlay picks for April 3.

MLB odds as of 11:12 a.m. ET on 04/03/23.

MLB parlay picks

Parlay: Judge over 0.5 hits + Donaldson under 0.5 runs scored + Perez under 1.5 total bases (+292)

Judge over 0.5 hits (-278) : We’re asking Judge to do something he has in every game this season.

The towering New York Yankees slugger has six hits with at least one in all three of his outings. He already has two home runs this year and there’s a decent chance he adds to that total on Monday.

The Yankees welcome the Philadelphia Phillies and they’re sending Walker to the mound. These two have faced off 14 times and Judge has four hits — all home runs — against him per Swish Analytics.

This is clearly a matchup Judge can take advantage of, so asking him to record a hit seems reasonable.

Other parlay picks

Donaldson under 0.5 runs scored (-182) : Although Donaldson has crossed home plate in two of three games this season, we’re not liking his chances this time around.

His early-season numbers certainly aren’t eye-popping. He’s just 2-for-11 with a walk and six strikeouts already on his ledger.

Unlike Judge, Donaldson hasn’t hit Walker well. In fact, he has struggled mightily when facing the 30-year-old. Donaldson is slashing .125/.167/.375 in 18 plate appearances against the Phillies starter, striking out six times.

It also doesn’t help Donaldson’s case that he hits fifth for the Yankees after New York’s best hitters have already gone to the dish. Unless he brings himself home, he’s relying on the bottom of the order to, and that’s certainly not a positive.

Perez under 1.5 total bases (-129) : Perez has a double in back-to-back games, but his hefty plate appearance sample size against Jose Berrios suggests it could be a quiet night at the dish.

These two have faced off 39 times — the most of any hitter vs. pitcher matchup on Monday — and the advantage firmly lies with the pitcher. Perez has more strikeouts (eight) than hits (seven) in this matchup, leading to some pretty lacklustre numbers.

The star catcher is slashing .189/.205/.270 against the ex-Minnesota Twins starter. We’re expecting that dominance to continue for Berrios.
