Partner Content | Celtics vs. Heat same-game parlay, Game 4: Bet on Adebayo and Miami at +220

The Miami Heat can punch their ticket to the NBA Finals with a win over the Boston Celtics tonight.

The pregame narrative: Miami just keeps winning basketball games and we’re going to bank a few points with the home team tonight. We’re also backing the over on an alternate total and are tailing Bam Adebayo’s points prop.

Check out our +220 Celtics vs. Heat same-game parlay picks for May 23.

Celtics vs. Heat same-game parlay picks

Parlay: Heat 9.5 + over 210.5 points + Adebayo over 17.5 points (+220)

Heat +6.5 (-315) : Miami’s flawless 6-0 record at Kaseya Center has us confident in a series sweep tonight. That said, we’re going to bank a few points and tease the Heat up to 6.5-point underdogs for this SGP.

Miami covered the spread in five of six home games and it’s no surprise that they own the best home defensive rating (102.8) and best home net rating (+14.1). Sure the home record is great, but the fact is Miami has been dominating across the board these playoffs.

Erik Spoelstra’s team has won 10 of its pasts 12 games, covering this specific spread in 11 of those contests. The Heat are also 8-1 ATS in their last nine games following a road win.

Other parlay legs

Over 210.5 points (-215) : Miami and Boston have cleared this total in six of seven meetings this season — including all three games this series. An average of 228.3 points have been scored per game so far and that’s largely thanks to the Heat’s offensive resurgence.

Miami ranked 25th in offensive rating during the regular season (112.3) but now sits second in the playoffs (117.5). The team dropped 128 points in Game 3 — the most since the beginning of the conference semifinals — and should continue to score tonight.

A slight uptick in scoring from the Celtics would help our case, but 211 points really isn’t much to ask considering the way these teams have played each other this season.

Adebayo over 17.5 points (-136) : Adebayo fell under this total on Sunday but he still dropped a remarkably efficient 13 points on 3-of-4 shooting (5-for-6 FT). That was the only time this postseason where he attempted fewer than 10 field goals.

We’re expecting Adebayo to be a little more trigger-happy tonight and that should be enough for us to cash this bet. This is a total he cleared in five straight games prior to Sunday’s contest.
